Don't Walk Away - Serious breach of Contract!
Walking away from homes is becoming a crazy rage. Home owners sign a legal and binding contract when they purchase a home. Home ownership is a long term investment for most folks. Home ownership is not based on the active market conditions, but rather the long term market conditions. Why are people walking away from their homes? The economy has declined and with the recession came a drop in housing values. As the housing continues to trend up so does the economy forecast.
With owners walking away, our economy could possibly take another turn toward a recession. With any investment, if you can afford your monthly payments, hold on and let the economy get caught up. Real Estate is a good investment and will generally give a 6% to 12% or more return. Do you get that from your other investments?
